But there is nothing ludicrous about it. In 1998 a leading Russian military defector told me that Russia and China could combine to defeat the United States in a future war. Yes, such a war is possible, even if the Americans think it’s some kind of joke. According to Pravda, “No matter how mighty it may seem, the United States of America is defenseless in the face of an external enemy. Neither the U.S. Army nor the National Guard will be able to rebuff a sudden attack due to the lack of military training and equipment.”

Pravda’s assessment of American strategic vulnerability refers to a 400-page study “prepared by the independent committee which the U.S. Congress set up to test the battling capacity of the national Armed Forces.” According to Pravda, “Any unexpected attack against the USA with the use of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons will become fatal for the [Americans]….”

Whatever your opinion of the War in Iraq, the most strategically significant result of the war has nothing to do with Iraq. Admiral Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has admitted that the U.S. military commitment to Iraq and Afghanistan “may have undermined the military’s ability to fight wars against major adversaries….” The U.S. military has changed its focus, losing sight of the real enemy – the most dangerous enemy of all.

The danger from Russia and China is not well understood. To complicate matters further, there is a new, rising incompetence in Washington. There is blindness in the governing class, a lack of understanding, an unwillingness to work with facts, a falsification of meanings, and fatal disregard for historical truth. Enemies are not recognized as enemies. Subversion is not recognized as subversion. Madness goes about in the guise of political correctness. [End of Quote.]

"Taking a larger view of things, it seems to me that Chittum and his supporters don't take the foreign threats to this country seriously. If they understood Civil War Two, as they claim, they might begin to see it more in terms of World War III. It is no accident that key black radicals (like the Black Panthers) are Marxist-Leninists. Ditto for the radical Hispanics who want to create a separate borderland state in the Southwest.

Must I remind everyone that the People's Republic of China is a Marxist-Leninist state? For that matter, Russia is a state dominated by "former" Marxist-Leninist functionaries. Last I looked, the black and Hispanic radicals in this country don't have a single nuclear warhead or ICBM. So let us consider whether a struggle for power between the Russia-China alliance and the U.S., involving ethnic malcontents in the U.S., is really a civil war or merely an extension of Chinese armed aggression and subversion."

Stalin and his henchmen had no choice, because the nation was real and solid and capable of defeating the Germans. Communism could not do it. And so the leaders of Russia and China recognize the lesson of World War II. They recognize the need to promote nationalism and downplay socialism.

It is a mistake to imagine that the internationalists are somehow winning; that they are taking control of the planet and subverting the nation state. They will weaken whatever states give in, momentarily, to internationalist ideas. But the nation-state is going to have its revenge. Even now it remains the strongest of political formations."

"Finally, while viewing these brief "Militia" videos keep in mind what a militia really is in the historical context of our Founding. We can send our totalitarians back to Washington to represent us and snap the gate shut behind us, or elect people like Ron Paul, and come out the other side with our freedoms restored & start re-building liberty as experienced by our very first colonial militiamen. You don't have to be a veteran yourself to recognize in these videos that these civilian soldiers would be no match for a real army. Some would say almost silly. But, keep in mind that when our standing troops come home because our Government will only force upon them payment in worthless script, and these veterans find their brothers, fathers and cousins already formed-up where do you think these Iraq war veterans will seek comfort, and a warm welcome for their military skills? Any meaningful job has gone to China, but now there's no longer a money to buy what was formerly made by them. What would you do? Think about it."
