The German American Bund began its work in 1933 as the Friends of New Germany, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, it quickly spread nationwide. The Friends of New Germany traced its roots back to the Teutonia Society and the National Socialist Party, both of which were active in the USA during the 1920s.
As with all American National Socialists of that era, this organization was proud to be loyal, patriotic and ‘100% American’ with strong support of the Constitution, and the US flag. The Bund worked against Communism and for a ‘truly free America’, with a strong vision for the defense of the American Folk. The German-American Bund held large successful and popular rallies throughout the United States, and ran summer camps for American Nazi youths which were modeled upon the camps of the National Socialist German Workers' Party and the Hitler youth camps.
The German American Bund was a large and powerful organization of ethnic Germans living in the United States in the years leading up to World War II, and was known publicly to uphold a strong pro-Nazi stance. In addition to the Bund’s admiration for Adolf Hitler and the great achievements of Nazi Germany, the German American Bund program included warnings about world-wide Jewry (“anti-Semitism”), strong anti-Communist statements and stance. The organization was foremost among many groups that demanded the United States remain neutral in the approaching European conflict.
Public opinion surveys of 1939 show that Fritz Kuhn, the leader of the German American Bund, was seen by the American public as the leading opponent of Jewish supremacy and meddling (“Semitism” or “Zionism”) in the country. Actual official membership figures for the German American Bund are not known with certainty, but reliable estimates place official membership at over 25,000 dues-paying members. This 25,000 Bund members included over 8,000 uniformed Nazi Sturmabteilungen (SA), more commonly known as Nazi Storm Troopers.
The German American Bund carried out active education programs, recruitment drives, and propaganda campaigns for its American Nazi causes. The Bund published magazines, leaflets, pamphlets, and brochures, skillfully organized demonstrations. It is laudable and impressive that the Bund maintained a number of fine youth camps here in the USA run like Hitler Youth camps in Germany, but stressing Americanism and strong patriotic loyalty to the United States of America. In addition there were several large gatherings of the German-American Bund membership and friends at large family Camps. One such event was held at Camp Nordland in New Jersey and was attended and supported by the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. This particular event greatly alarmed the Jews and Communist of the United States of America and worldwide, since such an alliance as the Bund and the KKK threatened their plans for world domination, starting with the plan for America to enter World War II on the side of Communist Russia in a no holds barred fight against Nazi Europe and Western Christendom.
Due to Jewish and Communist propaganda and agitation, German American Bund activities often led to clashes—even violent street battles--with other groups, not surprisingly most notably with Jewish veterans of World War I. A February 1939 German-American Bund rally was held on George Washington's birthday to proclaim the Bund’s loyalty, patriotic Americanism, and the rights of White Christians American Patriots. This Madison Square Garden rally drew a crowd of well over 20,000 Nazis and supporters who consistently booed President Franklin D. Roosevelt and repeatedly burst forth jubilantly with the Nazi salutation "Heil Hitler."
The German-American Bund worked in close cooperation with the ‘Christian Front’ organized by the Roman Catholic priest Father Charles Coughlin. Father Coughlin was extremely popular in America at that time, he was a household name and foremost among many warning the American people about the dangers of Communism and Jewish supremacy movements. The patriotic Christian activities of the German American Bund led both Jewish and sycophantic non-Jewish congressional representatives to demand that the Bund be investigated by the “House Un-American Activities Committee” chaired by Martin Dies; the so-called “House Un-American Activities Committee hearings, held in 1939, showed clear evidence and documentation of German American Bund ties to the Nazi German government.
Shortly thereafter and suspiciously, Bund leader Fritz Kuhn was convicted of embezzling funds from the organization and was sentenced to prison. Smells like a frame-up job by the pawns of Communism and world-wide Jewry. In the following years of paranoia and pro-Communist maneuverings, a number of other German American Bund leaders were interned as dangerous aliens, and others were jailed for various trumped up offenses. With official government oppression and persecution running rampant by 1941 the membership of the organization had fallen off dramatically. The final blow was delivered when the United States entered World War II in December 1941, and the U.S. federal government was able to officially outlaw the German American Bund. Unfortunately for Americans the forces of Cultural Marxism had won the day!

The 25 points of the NSDAP Program
The 25 points of the NSDAP Program were composed by Adolf Hitler and Anton Drexler, these 25 points were the guiding principles and political creed of the Nazi Party. In point twenty-four the intention and assurance that the Nazi Party was indeed Christian and would remain so is clearly stated. This Point 24 of the 25 Points clearly and undeniable demonstrates that, from the very beginning, the Nazis took a firm stand in favor of positive Christianity:

Through ignorance, delusion, denial of the
facts, subterfuge and concealment, many modern day historians, Church leaders
and faithful Christians have hidden or camouflaged the Christianity of Adolf
Hitler. These people are either ignorant of the facts or because of some agenda
of their own have purposefully distorted the truth and have attempted to mark
Hitler as an atheist, or a pagan, or a false Christian who helped to found and
uphold perhaps the most evil cult to ever flourish on the face of the earth.
These distorters of the truth have been extremely successful in their mission to
rewrite the history of World War II and the Nazi struggle against Communism.
However the fact remains that, from the earliest formation of the Nazi party and
throughout the period of the struggle, conquest and growth of Nazism, Hitler
expressed his firm support of Christianity to the German folk and soldiers.
24. We demand liberty for all religious denominations in the State, so far as they are not a danger to it and do not militate against the morality and moral sense of the German race. The Party, as such, stands for positive Christianity, but does not bind itself in the matter of creed to any particular confession. It combats the Jewish-materialist spirit within and without us, and is convinced that our nation can achieve permanent health from within only on the principle: the common interest before self-interest.
The following words of Adolf Hitler from some of his many speeches and proclamations clearly show his utter disdain and contempt for atheism, paganism, and cults. These words of Hitler reveal the strength of his Christian beliefs, convictions, and feelings:

The National Socialist State professes its allegiance to positive Christianity. It will be its honest endeavour to protect both the great Christian Confessions in their rights, to secure them from interference with their doctrines (Lehren ), and in their duties to constitute a harmony with the views and the exigencies of the State of to-day.

No, it is not we that have deserted
Christianity, it is those who came before us who deserted Christianity.
We have only carried through a clear division between politics which have to do
with terrestrial things, and religion, which must concern itself with the
celestial sphere. There has been no interference with the
doctrine (Lehre ) of the Confessions or with their religious freedom (Bekenntnisfreiheit
), nor will there be any such interference. On the contrary the State
protects religion, though always on the one condition that religion will not be
used as a cover for political ends....
National Socialism neither opposes the Church nor is it anti-religious, but on the contrary it stands on the ground of a real Christianity.... For their interests cannot fail to coincide with ours alike in our fight against the symptoms of degeneracy in the world of to-day, in our fight against a Bolshevist culture, against atheistic movement, against criminality, and in our struggle for a consciousness of a community in our national life... These are not anti-Christian, these are Christian principles! And I believe that if we should fail to follow these principles then we should to be able to point to our successes, for the result of our political battle is surely not unblest by God.

So far as the Evangelical Confessions are concerned we are
determined to put an end to existing divisions, which are concerned only with
the forms of organization, and to create a single Evangelical Church for the
whole Reich....
And we know that were the great German reformer Martin Luther with us to-day he would rejoice to be freed from the necessity of his own time and, like Ulrich von Hutten, his last prayer would be not for the Churches of the separate States: it would be of Germany that he would think and of the Evangelical Church of Germany.

Many of the European Nazis of World War II were devout Lutherans & Calvinists.
National Socialism is not a cult-movement--
a movement for worship; it is exclusively a 'volkic'
political doctrine based upon racial principles. In its purpose
there is no mystic cult, only the care and
leadership of a people defined by a common blood-relationship.... We will
not allow mystically-minded occult folk with a
passion for exploring the secrets of the world beyond to steal into our
Movement. Such folk are not National Socialists, but
something else-- in any case something which has nothing to do with us.
At the head of our programme there stand no secret
surmisings but clear-cut perception and
straightforward profession of belief. But since we set as the central
point of this perception and of this profession of belief the maintenance and
hence the security for the future of a being formed by God, we thus serve the
maintenance of a divine work and fulfill a divine will-- not in the secret
twilight of a new house of worship, but openly before the
face of the Lord.... Our worship is exclusively the cultivation of the
natural, and for that reason, because natural, therefore God-willed. Our
humility is the unconditional submission before the divine
laws of existence so far as they are known to us men.

[Judeo-Christians have always accused Hitler of believing in pagan cult mythology. Here he clearly expresses his stand against cults and reinforces his Christian views.]
If positive Christianity means love of one's
neighbour, i.e. the tending of the sick, the clothing of the poor, the feeding
of the hungry, the giving of drink to those who are thirsty, then it is we who
are the more positive Christians. For in these spheres the community of the
people of National Socialist Germany has accomplished a prodigious work.
