Washington's Cruisers Flag

 

George Washington used this flag on his squadron of six schooners in the fall of 1775. The flag was a variation of the New England Pine Tree flag. It was later modified and adopted by the Massachusetts Navy. The Sons of Liberty would rally under a large tree, in Boston Massachusetts, which came to be known as "The Liberty Tree". This tree became a symbol of American independence. Knowing they were up against a great military power they believed they were sustained by still a greater power, thus their "Appeal to Heaven".

Bedford Minutemen

This colorful and dramatic battle flag was carried by the Bedford Minute Men at the Battle of Concord during the American Revolutionary War. These American Rebel Militiamen rallied around and Held Fast under this noble banner which depict the strong right ARM of an armoured knight brandishing a sharp two-edged sword. The Knight's ARM extends from the clouds of heaven and clearly represents the Minutemen's "Appeal To Heaven" so that the strong and indeed all-powerful right ARM of YHVH might deliver them from the oppressions of their mighty enemies and thereby grant the American Rebel Militiamen Victory in Christ and peace on earth amongst men of good will. This group of Militia Minutemen fought bravely at the Battle of Concord and have left US with a legacy and heritage to uphold. Hold Fast!
