YAHVAH has given to each of
His children (referred to as "a royal priesthood" in I Peter 2:9*)
at least one ministry to fulfill, as Archippus was told to do
(Colossians 4:17**).
*9: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an
holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His
marvellous light:" (I Peter 2:9, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
**17: "And say to Archippus, 'Take heed to the ministry which
thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.'" (Colossians
4:17, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
There are many anointed (YHVH-ordained) ministries for women listed
in the Bible; I have set down some of them on this web page.

1) These women (and men)
were musicians for Yahweh.--
1-3, 20-21: "Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this
song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, 'I will sing unto the LORD,
for He hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider [their
enemy, the Egyptians, who were chasing them] hath He thrown into the
sea. The LORD is my strength and song, and He is become my
salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him an habitation; my
father's God, and I will exalt Him. The LORD is a man of war: the
LORD is His name.' . . . And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of
Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after
her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them, 'Sing
ye to the LORD, for He hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his
rider hath He thrown into the sea.'" (Exodus 15:1-3, 20-21, HOLY
BIBLE, KJV)
1-3, 12: "Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on
that day, saying, 'Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel,
when the people willingly offered themselves. Hear, O ye kings;
give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will
sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.'. . . 'Awake, awake,
Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy
captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.'" (Judges 5:1-3, 12, HOLY
BIBLE, KJV)
5-7: "All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the
words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen
sons and three daughters. All these were under the hands of their
father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries,
and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the
king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. So the number of them,
with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD,
even all that were cunning (skillful), was two hundred fourscore and
eight." (I Chronicles 25:5-7, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

2) There are several Godly
prophetesses mentioned in the Bible. There are Miriam (Exodus
15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4) and Huldah (II Kings 22:14) in the Old
Testament and Anna (Luke 2:36) and the daughters of Phillip (Acts
21:9) in the New Testament.

3) These godly women
beautified the Lord's tabernacle with cloth they had spun.--
25-26: "And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with
their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and
of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen. And all the women
whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair." (Exodus
35:25-26, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
Another female seamstress highly spoken of in the Bible was Tabitha
("Dorcas" in Greek).--
36, 39: "Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named
Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was
full of good works and almsdeeds which she did. . . . Then Peter
arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into
the upper chamber [where Dorcas was]: and all the widows stood by
him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made,
while she was with them." (Acts 9:36, 39, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

4) Out of a total of 13
judges in some hundreds of years of Israel' history after the Exodus
from Egypt, this woman (Deborah) was the only female to be given
that position of honor. In order to be a judge, a person had to
have been given the Spirit of YHVH and had to be called by Him (not
man-appointed) for that special ministry/position. A judge of
Israel not only settled controversies between Israelites, but also
led them militarily against their enemies. The tyranny of their
enemies was often sent as a punishment by YAHVAH for the Israelites'
sins. When they sincerely repented of their sins, He would either
cause their enemies to be at peace with them or give them victory in
battle. Deborah didn't lead the Israelites in battle, but (as
directed by YHVH) told Barak that he had been appointed by YHVH to
lead the Israelites in war against their enemies. Barak was,
therefore, Deborah's co-judge.--
4-10, 14: "And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she
judged Israel at that time. And she dwelt under the palm tree of
Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children
of Israel came up to her for judgment. And she sent and called
Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him,
'Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, "Go and draw
toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the
children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun? And I will
draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's
army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him
into thine hand."' And Barak said unto her, 'If thou wilt go with
me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will
not go.' And she said, 'I will surely go with thee:
notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine
honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman [Jael].'
And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh. And Barak called
Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men
at his feet: and Deborah went up with him. . . . And Deborah said
unto Barak, 'Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath
delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before
thee?' So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men
after him." (Judges 4:4-10, 14, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
Deborah's song of victory to Yahweh after the battle is in Judges
5. It contains these interesting verses.--
6-18: "In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of
Jael, the highways were deserted, and travelers went by roundabout
ways. The peasantry ceased, they ceased in Israel, until I,
Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel. New gods were
chosen; then war was in the gates. Not a shield or a spear was seen
among forty thousand in Israel. My heart goes out to the commanders
of Israel, the volunteers among the people; bless the LORD! You who
ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who
travel on the road--sing! At the sound of those who divide flocks
among the watering places, there they shall recount the righteous
deeds of the LORD, the righteous deeds for His peasantry in Israel.
Then the people of the LORD went down to the gates. Awake, awake,
Deborah; awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, Barak, and take away
your captives, O son of Abinoam. Then survivors came down to the
nobles; the people of the LORD came down to me as warriors. From
Ephraim those whose root is in Amalek came down, following you,
Benjamin, with your peoples; from Machir commanders came down, and
from Zebulun those who wield the staff of office (KJV reads "out of
Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer"). And the princes
of Issachar were with Deborah; as was Issachar, so was Barak; into
the valley they rushed at his heels; among the divisions of Reuben
there were great resolves of heart. Why did you sit among the
sheepfolds, to hear the piping for the flocks? Among the divisions
of Reuben there were great searchings of heart. Gilead remained
across the Jordan; and why did Dan stay in ships? Asher sat at the
seashore, and remained by its landings. Zebulun was a people who
despised their lives even to death, and Naphtali also, on the high
places of the field." (Judges 5:6-18, HOLY BIBLE, NASB)

5) This woman was known for
her constancy (remaining faithful, unchanging) in her love. Ruth
was one of the ancestors of Yahshua ("Jesus" in Greek). She ("a
Moabitess") was geographically, but not racially, from Moab. (For
example, a Caucasian living in California, which was once a
territory of Mexico, is called a Californian and not a Mexican.)
Ruth was of Israelite blood. The Israelites killed or drove out all
of the original inhabitants of Moab (the Moabites and Ammonites) and
held the territory of Moab exclusively for over 300 years. Ruth
lived in Moab around the middle of this time period before moving to
Bethlehem with her mother-in-law Naomi. For the history of Moab,
see these Bible verses--Numbers 21:26, 29, 33-35, Deuteronomy
2:32-34, Deuteronomy 3:12-16, Judges 11:12-26.--
15-17: "And she [Naomi] said [to Ruth], 'Behold, thy sister in
law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou
after thy sister in law.' And Ruth said, 'Intreat me not to leave
thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou
goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people
shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest, will I
die, and there will I be buried: the LORD (YAHVAH) do so to me, and
more also, if ought but death part thee and me.'" (Ruth 1:15-17,
HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

6) Motherhood is a
ministry, also.--
This woman was an ideal mother.--
1:19-28 & 2:11 : "And they [Elkanah and his wife Hannah] rose
up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and
returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah
his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass,
when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she
bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, 'Because I have
asked him of the LORD.' And the man Elkanah, and all his house,
went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, 'I will not
go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he
may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.' And Elkanah
her husband said unto her, 'Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until
thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish His word.' So the
woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him. And when
she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks,
and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto
the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young. And they
slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli [the high priest]. And
she said, 'Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman
that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD. For this child I
prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of
Him: therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he
liveth he shall be lent to the LORD.' And he worshipped the LORD
there. . . . And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child
did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest." (I Samuel 1:19-28
& 2:11, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
Another example of a good mother is Mary, the mother of Jesus.--
25: "Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His
mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene."
(St. John 19:25, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

7) Here are four examples
in Scripture where three different women and a girl directly spread
the truth of God.--
This wise, godly woman provided food and drink to David and his
soldiers and humbly reminded him of Yahweh's protection and
involvement in his life.--
18, 20, 27-33: "Then Abigail hurried and took two hundred
loaves of bread and two jugs of wine and five sheep already prepared
and five measures of roasted grain and a hundred clusters of raisins
and two hundred cakes of figs, and loaded them on donkeys. . . . It
came about as she was riding on her donkey and coming down by the
hidden part of the mountain, that behold, David and his men were
coming down toward her; so she met them. . . . [Abigail said to
David,] 'Now let this gift which your maidservant has brought to my
lord be given to the young men who accompany my lord. Please
forgive the transgression of your maidservant; for the LORD will
certainly make for my lord an enduring house, because my lord is
fighting the battles of the LORD, and evil will not be found in you
all your days. Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your
life, then the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the
living with the LORD your God; but the lives of your enemies He will
sling out as from the hollow of a sling. And when the LORD does for
my lord according to all the good that He has spoken concerning you,
and appoints you ruler over Israel, this will not cause grief or a
troubled heart to my lord, both by having shed blood without cause
and by my lord having avenged himself. When the LORD deals well
with my lord, then remember your maidservant.' Then David said to
Abigail, 'Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who sent you this day
to meet me, and blessed be your discernment, and blessed be you, who
have kept me this day from bloodshed and from avenging myself by my
own hand.'" (I Samuel 25:18, 20, 27-33, HOLY BIBLE, NASB)
This little girl was instrumental in Naaman being healed of leprosy;
she told her mistress of God's healing power in the prophet Elisha.--
1-5, 8-9, 14-15: "Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king
of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because
by him the LORD (YHVH) had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also
a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. And the Syrians had
gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land
of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. And she
said unto her mistress, 'Would God my lord were with the prophet
that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.' And
one went in, and told his lord, saying, 'Thus and thus said the maid
that is of the land of Israel.' And the king of Syria said, 'Go to,
go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel.' And he
departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand
pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. . . . And it was so,
when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had
rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, 'Wherefore hast
thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know
that there is a prophet in Israel.' So Naaman came with his horses
and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
. . . Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan,
according to the saying of the man of God [Elisha]: and his flesh
came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came,
and stood before him: and he said, 'Behold, now I know that there is
no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee,
take a blessing of thy servant.'" (II Kings 5:1-5, 8-9, 14-15, HOLY
BIBLE, KJV)
This woman spread the news of the Messiah, Yahshua the Christ, to
the city of Sychar in Samaria.--
7, 13-15, 25-26, 28-30: "There cometh a woman of Samaria to
draw water: Jesus saith unto her, 'Give me to drink.' . . . Jesus
answered and said unto her, 'Whosoever drinketh of this water shall
thirst again: but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give
him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be
in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.' The
woman saith unto Him, 'Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not,
neither come hither to draw.' . . . The woman saith unto Him, 'I
know that Messias ["Messiah" in Hebrew] cometh, which is called
Christ: when He is come, He will tell us all things.' Jesus saith
unto her, 'I that speak unto thee am He.' . . . The woman then left
her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
'Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not
this the Christ?' Then they went out of the city, and came unto
Him.'" (St. John 4:7, 13-15, 25-26, 28-30, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
This woman and her husband Aquila (Acts 18:2 & 18:18) declared to a
man of God (Apollos) the more exact details of God's truth. Note
that Priscilla (also called Prisca in Scriptures) did not go to
Apollos on her own and that her husband and she did not talk with
Apollos until the service was over. Apollos is thought by some
Bible scholars to be the author of the book of Hebrews, one of the
most profoundly spiritual books in the Bible.--
24-28: "And a certain Jew [This is a mistranslation. See
*
at bottom of this scripture section.] named Apollos, born at
Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to
Ephesus. This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being
fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently (exactly) the
things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John. And he began
to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had
heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of
God more perfectly (exactly). And when he was disposed to pass into
Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him:
who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through
grace: For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly,
shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ." (Acts 18:24-28,
HOLY BIBLE, KJV)(See also # 14 on this web page.)
(*Apollos
was an Israelite of the tribe of Judah; no true member of the tribe
of Judah, no Judahite, was a mongrelized jew by race. See
these LINKS for teaching on this complex subject.)--
