Christian women are as cherished in the
Kingdom of Yahshua as Christian men are. The following is a list of
Biblical, godly women who stand out because of their obedience to
YAHVAH and His Son Yahshua.--
1) Mary was chosen by YHVH to bear His Son Yahshua the Messiah
("Jesus Christ" in Greek). She had many characteristics that
Christian women should pray for. Mary was submissive to YAHVAH, had
faith in Him and in Yahshua, and was spiritually minded.--
26-38 & 46-55: "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was
sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin
espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and
the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and
said, 'Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee:
blessed art thou among women.' And when she saw him, she was
troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of
salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, 'Fear not,
Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt
conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name
JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the
Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His
father David: and He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever;
and of His kingdom there shall be no end.' Then said Mary unto the
angel, 'How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?' And the angel
answered and said unto her, 'The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee,
and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also
that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son
of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived
a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was
called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.' And Mary
said, 'Behold the handmaid (bondslave, female servant) of the Lord;
be it unto me according to thy word.' And the angel departed from
her. . . . And Mary said, 'My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my
spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For He hath regarded the
low estate of His handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all
generations shall call me blessed. For He that is mighty hath done
to me great things; and holy is His name. And His mercy is on them
that fear Him from generation to generation. He hath shewed
strength with His arm; He hath scattered the proud in the
imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their
seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry
with good things; and the rich He hath sent empty away. He hath
helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy; as He spake
to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.'" (St. Luke 1:
26-38 & 46-55, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
1-5: "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of
Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: and both Jesus was
called, and His disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted
wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, 'They have no wine.'
Jesus saith unto her, 'Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine
hour is not yet come.' His mother saith unto the servants,
'Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it.'" (St. John 2:1-5, HOLY BIBLE,
KJV)

2) Elizabeth, a spiritually
humble woman, was specially chosen by YAHVAH to bear John the
Baptist, the prophesied forerunner of Yahshua.* John the Baptist
was a powerful, Spirit-filled preacher, making ready a people
prepared (formed) for Yahshua's ministry on earth. He also had the
honor of baptizing Yahshua in water.--
*5-6: "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the
coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: and he shall turn
the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the
children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a
curse." (Malachi 4:5-6, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
5-17, 39-45: "THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of
Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and
his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the
commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. And they had no
child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now
well stricken in years. And it came to pass, that while he executed
the priest's office before God in the order of his course, according
to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense
when he went into the temple of the Lord. And the whole multitude
of the people were praying without at the time of incense. And
there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right
side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was
troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said unto him,
'Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife
Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his
birth. For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall
drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the
Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. And many of the children
of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go
before Him in the spirit and power of Elias ("Elijah" in Hebrew), to
turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient
to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the
Lord.' . . . And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill
country with haste, into a city of Juda; and entered into the house
of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that,
when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her
womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: and she spake
out with a loud voice, and said, 'Blessed art thou among women, and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that
the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the
voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my
womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be
a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.'"
(St. Luke 1:5-17, 39-45, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
12-14: "[Yahshua said,] 'Verily I say unto you, Among them that
are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the
Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven
is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now
the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by
force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And
if ye will receive it, this is Elias ("Elijah" in Hebrew), which was
for to come.'" (St. Matthew 11:12-14, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

3)Anna was the first to
spread the news in Jerusalem that the Messiah, Yahshua, had come.--
36-38: "And there was a prophetess, Anna the daughter of
Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years and had
lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then as a
widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, serving
night and day with fastings and prayers. At that very moment [when
she saw the baby Yahshua being presented to YHVH] she came up and
began giving thanks to God, and continued to speak of Him to all
those who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem." (St. Luke
2:36-38, HOLY BIBLE, NASB)

4) These women were the
first at Yahshua's tomb.--
23:55-24:3 "And the women also, which came with Him (Yahshua)
from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre (tomb), and
how His body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and
ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they
came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had
prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone
rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not
the body of the Lord Jesus." (St. Luke 23:55 - 24:3, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
(In St. Luke 24:10 and St. Mark 16:1, the Scriptures say these women
were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, Joanna, Salome, and
other women that were with them.)

5) These women were the
first to announce Yahshua's resurrection from the dead.--
4-10: "And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed
thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: and
as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they
said unto them, 'Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not
here, but is risen: remember how He spake unto you when He was yet
in Galilee, saying, "The Son of man must be delivered into the hands
of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."'
And they remembered His words, and returned from the sepulchre, and
told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. It was
Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other
women that were with them, which told these things unto the
apostles." (St. Luke 24:4-10, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

6) Mary Magdalene was the
first to see the resurrected Yahshua (before His ascension to YAHVAH,
His Father*).--
9-10: "Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the
week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast
seven devils. And she went and told them that had been with Him, as
they mourned and wept." (St. Mark 16:9-10, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)
10-18: " Then the disciples went away again unto their own
home. But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she
wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, and seeth two
angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the
feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her,
'Woman, why weepest thou?' She saith unto them, 'Because they have
taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid Him.' And
when she had thus said, she turned herself back (around), and saw
Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus saith unto
her, 'Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?' She, supposing
Him to be the gardener, saith unto Him, 'Sir, if thou have borne Him
hence, tell me where thou hast laid Him, and I will take Him away.'
Jesus saith unto her, 'Mary.' She turned herself, and saith unto
Him, 'Rabboni'; which is to say, 'Master'. Jesus saith unto her,
'Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father:* but go to my
brethren, and say unto them, "I ascend unto my Father, and your
Father; and to my God, and your God."' Mary Magdalene came and told
the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that He had spoken
these things unto her." (St. John 20:10-18, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

7) On the day of Yahshua's
resurrection He showed Himself (after His ascension to YAHVAH, His
Father) to three groups of people. One of those groups was some of
the women who had gone to His tomb that morning. Notice that they
were able to touch Him.--
1, 8-10: "In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward
the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to
see the sepulchre. . . .And they [the women] departed quickly from
the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His
disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold,
Jesus met them, saying, 'All hail.' And they came and held Him by
the feet, and worshipped Him. Then said Jesus unto them, 'Be not
afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there
shall they see me.'" (St. Matthew 28:1, 8-10, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

8) These women attended the
first prayer-meeting of Christians after Yahshua's final ascent to
heaven.--
13-14: "And when they were come in, they went up into an upper
room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew,
Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of
Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These
all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the
women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brethren." (Acts
1:13-14, HOLY BIBLE, KJV)

9) These women were the
first to greet Christian missionaries in Europe.--
13: "And on the Sabbath day we [Paul and Silas] went outside
the gate to a riverside [in Phillippi in Macedonia](which was in the
Balkan Peninsula, north of ancient Greece), where we were supposing
that there would be a place of prayer; and we sat down and began
speaking to the women who had assembled." (Acts 16:13, HOLY BIBLE,
NASB)

10) Lydia was the first
Christian convert in Europe.--
14-15: "A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a
seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the
Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul. And
when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying,
'If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my
house and stay.' And she prevailed upon us." (Acts 16:14-15, HOLY
BIBLE, NASB)
